Ceramics are a new found love I began in 2019 after taking classes at a local pottery studio. Thanks to the Arts & Science Council, I was able to travel to Oaxaca, Mexico where I learned techniques from clay artisans that have passed this craft through several generations.
My current focus with this media is red clay sculpture using a brick oven. You can see my progression below from first glazed plates to current sculpture work.
